Submission

Submission is the process of sending batch deposits to a merchant service provider for processing to be settled, electronically or by mail. This process is the actual transfer process of funds from the cardholder’s account to the merchant’s account. Many payment processors will have agreed cut off times in which transactions will be processed, for example 5pm every day.
